Stop Homophobia Poster!

I choose this poster with the black background as my best poster. I think this is my best poster because with the background black, the red words stand out more. Also, the picture is more emphasized against the black background than on the grey or red backgrounds.

My theme i did for the poster was homophobia. I did homophobic slurs and how they hurt people, for the main topic on this poster. Also, that "97% of students report regularly hearing these homophobic slurs!". That's like pretty much every day someones hearing "that's so gay" or another slur So, my message I'm sending out is that no one should be hearing or saying these comments to anyone because it hurts.

Video Storytelling

http://masteringmultimedia.wordpress.com/2008/02/14/sequencing-the-foundation-of-video-storytelling/

Main Points of This Article

•Each video entry suffered one fatal flaw– They lacked the basic sequencing of video clips.
•The sequence is the foundation of all video storytelling.
•Sequences compress time in a video story. Without the compression, all you have left is long video clips that visually bore viewers to death.
•Proper sequencing gives the video editor a better way to pace a story by using a variety of wide, medium and tight shots.

When shooting a sequence you have to anticipate the action. When I’m shooting, I’m always running scenarios through my mind. I asking myself: Where’s the action headed? Where do I need to position myself to be in the right spot? What shots do I need to get me from point A to point B?

•Try to remember to shoot a variety shots.
•It’s most important to hold your shots for about 10 seconds each.
•Don’t pan or zoom; just let the actions enter or leave the frame.

Celebrity Photo

This is my celebrity photo. I did Trey Songz, he's a singer. First i used this tool that would erase the halo around him. Than i used that history brush to get things i didnt really want to get erased. I put him in the other photo. I fixed the brightness and contrast.

Obama Photos!

I did this obama photo in photoshop. It was a little easier to do than the second one but the second photo is better because i used better tools. I used the magnetic tool, than i put obama itsself into the greatwall of china photo. I fixed the brightness and contrast than it was done.

The second image i did was a little harder but the photo is better. Theres i tool that you would get the edge of obama, so it erases the blue halo. Than i used the history brush to get things that were erased on obama. I put him in the photo of great wall of china. than i fixed the brightness and colour.

My Collage

This is my collage. The theme i choose for this is simplicity. In this collage there is 11 photos in total. I choose photos that were focused on one thing and the back round is blurry because that is pretty much what simiplicity is.
